📦 Core Optimization Mods

Valkaw offers two different rendering paths depending on your hardware and preferences. Choose the version that best suits your system!

1. Sodium Edition

The standard, highly compatible optimization route using the OpenGL API. Perfect for most users and supports shaders.

2. VulkanMod Edition (Maximum Raw Performance)

A wildly powerful route that completely replaces OpenGL with the Vulkan API. Incredible for squeezing out the absolute maximum raw FPS, require Vulkan API 1.3.

📥 Installation Guide

  1. Open the launcher that supports the Modrinth modpack format.
  2. Search for Valkaw.
  3. Choose your preferred edition, either Sodium or VulkanMod, and the Minecraft version you want to play.
  4. Click Install and hit play!

🟡 CurseForge and other launchers (Legacy Launcher, Titan Launcher,…)

  1. Not supported CurseForge, the only way is to use the installation method below.
  2. The best way is to download and extract the ZIP file from the GitHub release, then copy and paste it into the instance you want.
  3. Notice: you’ll need to update everything manually.

⚠️ Note: We constantly update the modpack to ensure compatibility and maximum performance. If you experience crashes, please open an issue on our GitHub instead of using the comment section!
